Open Access Policy

Al-Majallah al-Ṭibbiyyah li-Jāmiʻat Tikrīt (Medical Journal of Tikrit University, MJTU) is a fully open access journal. All content is made freely and immediately available online, without delay and without charge to the reader or their institution, on the principle that unrestricted access to research supports the free exchange of knowledge and accelerates scientific progress.

Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of any article, or use it for any other lawful purpose, without seeking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This policy is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their published work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

You are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially

The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as the license terms are followed.

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
